but i know im not amazing; i dont claim to be. but, i'm tired of the 'awesome art' being something like a picture that may or may not be deep. it all depends on people's perspective of the picture. It could just be a random leaf on a sidewalk, and if someone decides that it has deep meaning, BAM daily deviation. i need to get me some sleep; i'm talking in metaphors i think

those weren't random paint spatters--unless you sent me the wrong link--,and i did enjoy your writting, but you have to realize that this daily deviation nonsense is a creature of a political nature. it doesn't depend on "people's" perspectives so much as the, what, three people that run the daily deviations.
if you want one you have to conform to their interests at the very least, and writing, especially if it isn't fanfiction, is hardpressed enough to find fans let alone any kind of accolades.
take the shit that i draw for example, i will never get a daily deviation. never. and it has nothing to do with my talent or whether or not i deserve recognition (especially since i don't)--it has everything to do with the fact that i don't draw pretty anime girls or take naked black and white pictures of real ones. and even if i did, i'm no where near popular enough for people to suggest that i get recognized. simple as that.
in conclusion, don't be expecting anything from dA any time soon.
